One Year Out Celebration 2013 ISU World Figure Skating Championships

OTTAWA, ON: On March 10, 2012 Skate Canada will be celebrating a year to go until Canada hosts the world at the 2013 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in London, Ont., from March 10-17, 2013 at the John Labatt Centre.

Londoners are invited to come out and celebrate at the White Oaks Mall on March 10, with an official cake cutting ceremony, as well as an autograph signing with aspiring 2013 world team athletes. The London resident who will chair the Local Organizing Committee will also be introduced, and the first all-event ticket purchaser from London will be honoured.

Media are invited to the White Oaks Mall to conduct any interviews with the listed participants. In addition, Cynthia Phaneuf and Elladj Baldé will be available on Friday, March 9 for in-person interviews. Please send any request to Emma Bowie, [email protected] or 613.747.1007 ext: 2547.
